More Info
Being managed together with the nearby theme park, if there is no space in the parking area it is possible to stop in the park itself. Various events are organized near the bar and picnic areas.
The town is part of the system of rock engravings of Valcamonica as it has three parks on its territory which are part of the site reported by UNESCO.
Forty days after Easter, the Thursday Ascension Fair takes place (fiéra della Sensa, perhaps inspired by the Venetian Festa della Sensa): traditionally it was a cattle fair, today it is a market day that occupies all the streets of the town.
To visit the Monastery of San Salvatore and the Church of Saints Faustina and Liberata: the legend has been handed down that sees Saints Faustina and Liberata, living in penitence in a cave in the region near Capo di Ponte. They miraculously intervened to stop two boulders that threatened the village with their hands. Still today near the church dedicated to them, you can see two huge boulders bearing handprints and which are still venerated by the local population.
The National Park of Rock Engravings of Naquane, the Didactic Museum of Art and Prehistoric Life and the National Museum of Prehistory of Valle Camonica deserve particular attention.
