More Info

The historic center of Camporosso and the hamlets of Balloi, Brunetti and Trinità as well as the localities of San Giacomo and Ciaixe are points of reference for tourists looking for an environment that offers suggestive views and buildings of historical and artistic importance.

The coastal stretch is rather pebbly, as in Vallecrosia and Bordighera.
The 11th century Romanesque church of San Pietro is located in the Camporosso cemetery and contains frescoes from the 15th to the 17th century. The historic center, all to be discovered, presents itself with characteristic alleys and ancient mills.
The Municipality and the Library, with its patrimony of manuscripts and rare books, are located in the premises of a noble building, once the residence of the Dorias.

The parish church of San Marco Evangelista was built in the fifteenth century and enlarged in the eighteenth century. The 19th century bell tower has recently been restored.

Absolutely not to be missed, the Lagasso wildlife oasis, where over 120 species of migratory birds nest, protected by the Italian League for the protection of birds.

In the area of osta, festivals and theme nights every weekend.

There is also a cycle path that connects the sea to the castle of Dolceacqua (open to visitors).
