At the foot of Mount Croce stands the village, an important road junction in the medieval period and a strategic junction on the Romea road, once traveled by pilgrims and by Ligurians and Tuscans, who passed through Terenzo on their way from the Via del Sale.

In the town there is the ancient Church of Santo Stefano.

A few kilometers from the center stands the small hamlet of Bardone, where it is possible to visit the Pieve di Santa Maria.

At about 5 km we find the characteristic medieval village of Cassio.
