More Info

Pollone is a prealpine village in the Elvo Valley Mountain Community (BI). Set in unique and unspoiled nature within the “Felice Piacenza” Burcina Park, it is rich in history and culture. However, it is nature that takes center stage, such as the enchanting hill of St. Barnabas with its small church and oratory or the various paths that lead to views of rare beauty. Sportsmen and sportswomen find plenty to do in Pollone and its territory: Nordic walking, orienteering, mountain biking, cross-country or downhill skiing, ski mountaineering, snowshoeing, and paragliding are just some of the sporting activities to choose from. Other activities include wildlife observation, bird watching, photography, painting, and, during the right season, going mushroom and chestnut picking.
