The rest area
The camper parking area of Marotta in the municipality of Mondolfo is located on the Lungomare Sud Cristoforo Colombo, on the sea. Within a radius of 200 meters there are the first shops, supermarkets, pharmacies, restaurants, tobacconists, pizzerias, etc.
The parking area is fenced and guarded, comfortably accommodates 75 campers with electrical connections, possibility of using awnings, tables and chairs. The area has drinking water, fixed loading and unloading pit and toilet cisterns, hot and cold showers, sinks for dishes and small laundry.
The accommodation is managed by the “Il Picchio Camper Club”.
The opening hours are from 8.00 to 12.30 and from 15.00 to 23.00 and it is open from 15 April to 30 September.

Today Marotta has been repeatedly recognized by the FEE Blue Flag of Europe.
The Club activates agreements with restaurants for local fish specialties, including take-away.
It also organizes itineraries, including guided tours, for the discovery of the historical, architectural and eno-gastronomic beauties of the area.
In front of the area it is possible to buy freshly caught fish from the local sailors.
