The Staging Area
Rest area in hamlet. Lillaz (1650 m a.s.l.), 4 km after Cogne going up, on the riverside, left of Urtier stream, lighted, on asphalt, at the beginning of the village, very quiet and well maintained, 38 places, camper service, no parking 20-8 outside the camper area; in case this is full, a stop, even at night, is tolerated in the large dirt parking lot near the picnic area.
In July and August there is a free shuttle bus to Cogne, which can still be reached on foot via guided trails.
Free from 8 am to 8 pm, €15 per night including electricity.

Waterfalls, with nice walk, are about 1 km from the area. Originating from the Urtier stream, they show three water jumps with a total height of 150 meters and during the winter period become a destination for ice climbing enthusiasts.
There is the possibility of various walks and hikes.
In the vicinity of the rest area There are several small businesses selling typical products of absolute quality; bread, cakes, milk, cheese, butter all handmade. Stopping at the Parking Area is issued a card for discounts in stores and for facilities.
