The Staging Area
Municipal area, flat, with 39 large pitches on gravel and adjacent area on the lawn equipped with posts.
The driveway is paved, overlooking the lake.
Near the entrance is a masonry block, equipped with 3 toilets (including disabled toilets), washbasins, coin-operated hot showers, and dish sink. Possibility of using the barbecue and some picnic tables.
Adjacent to the area is a large playground.
Parking is allowed for up to 48 hours.
Payment is made in coins or online through the Costa Volpino Municipality website by entering in the justification the date and time of arrival and license plate number of the vehicle, possibly providing photographic documentation.
LìArea di Sosta is equidistant from the center of Costa Volpino, which is well served by bars, supermarkets, pharmacies, stores and other conveniences, and from the town of Lovere, within walking distance (about 10 minutes).
Nearby restaurants and pizzerias offer special prices and discounts for those staying at the RV park.
Bike path from Costa Volpino to Capo di Ponte (in Vallecamonica), along the Oglio River.
A fitness area equipped for wheelchair users is also available, in the beautiful setting of the River Oglio Park.
Museums and the possibility of guided tours of the town of Lovere, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy.

The rest area itself directly overlooks the Lake and a small marina, where among other things there is the possibility of renting boats, with prices on request depending on the duration of the rental and the size of the boat, and for drone enthusiasts, it is possible to get them off the dock, and it is within a bike path in the green.
There is also a hut inside the Staging Area that sells bread and cheese.
The municipality of Costa Volpino is divided into seven small towns. They include the medieval village of Corti and Volpino, of Roman origin, with the parish church of Santo Stefano, which houses an altarpiece from the 1500s. Above a large terrace, reachable by bus, risesQualino, which offers a complete panorama of Lake Iseo and the lower Valcamonica. Also worth a visit is the parish church of S. Bartolomeo in Branico, which houses interesting 15th-century frescoes, and the parish church of S. Giorgio in Ceratello, with its splendid panoramic location.
Don’t miss the Avifauna Park – A real green lung that runs along the Oglio River, suitable for relaxing walks but also for sports. It has lake access, but there is no beach. It is crossed by the bike path coming from loc. Target and connects to the Oglio Cycleway. The predominantly flat trail allows you to travel north of the lake through the Camonica Valley to Capo di Ponte, traversing a varied landscape and enjoying breathtaking views.
