The rest area
Area Camper Caravan Serraglio SAH in Cerchiara di Calabria (CS) is located north of the historic center. The stopping point is however served by various commercial activities and not far from the local Carabinieri station.
It mainly has ten parking spaces on asphalt and self-locking, equipped with electricity and water connections and a station for water discharges. It is also equipped with toilets with hot showers, sinks for dishes and hand washing of clothes. Small barbecue and picnic area.
The area is also open all year round and parking is subject to charges. Pets are allowed.

The rest area is located 25 km away from A3 (Frascineto exit);
20 km State Road 106 Taranto – Crotone (Villapiana Scalo exit);
It is located in the historic center of the town of Cerchiara di Calabria (Cosenza), a town set in the shape of a semicircle on its ancient castle.
To visit:
– One of the most important Marian shrines dedicated to the Madonna delle Armi.
– The Churches of San Pietro, San Giacomo and Sant’Antonio.
– The Museum of Bread and the Loricato Pine.
– In addition, in the summer, you can visit the Caves of the Nymphs with its sulphurous waters.

– Oil, meats and cheeses;
– Products in oil (peppers, mushrooms, aubergines, tomatoes).
During the summer, particularly on August 14th, the “Festa dell’Emigrante” takes place, the same month as the great “Bread Festival” and the “Wild Boar Festival”, all events dedicated to food and wine culture.
