The castle was destroyed and rebuilt numerous times over the centuries, and it is likely that the shape, size and style have changed considerably. Only the foundations remain of the castle, now covered by the buildings in the square.
The village fair is held the first week of August; other noteworthy events include the Bressane carnival, the spring fair (first Sunday in April), and the antiques market every first Sunday of the month.
