More Info

Sanvitale Fortress which dominates the town square, belonged to the Sanvitale family from the 13th century to the early 17th century, when it passed to the Farnese family. Inside are frescoed rooms. The tour includes the 16th-century Halls and the Oratory of the Assumption.
The Rocca houses the permanent exhibition of sculptor Jucci Ugolotti entitled Sacroprofano and the Wine Museum, which is part of the Food Museums circuit.

The Pieve di Talignano, dedicated to St. Blaise, is located on the top of a hill surrounded by vegetation, about 1 km from the Boschi di Carrega Park. The small building dates back to the 1200s.

The food and wine offerings are rich: it is the land of PDO Prosciutto di Parma and the production area of Malvasia wine, and the Rocca houses the Wine Museum.
